About

Andrew Veerathanongdech is an accomplished pilot, instructor, and former U.S. Air Force officer whose career reflects discipline, leadership, and a passion for continuous growth. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Andrew earned dual athletic scholarships in tennis and wrestling before joining the Academy’s rugby team, where he competed for three years. He graduated with military and athletic honors and went on to complete undergraduate pilot training at Laughlin Air Force Base, ranking second in his class and earning his first-choice assignment: the KC-10 Extender. Throughout his distinguished Air Force career, Andrew advanced rapidly—first as a First Officer, then Aircraft Commander, Instructor Pilot, and eventually as the youngest KC-10 Schoolhouse Instructor in the program’s history. Recognized with multiple Instructor of the Quarter awards, he later served at Travis Air Force Base as Chief of Evaluations, overseeing pilots, boom operators, and flight engineers. Following active duty, Andrew transitioned to the private sector, combining his aviation expertise and business background to instruct at FlightSafety International, where he trained NetJets pilots and advanced to Senior Instructor and AQP Evaluator. Today, he serves as a First Officer at Air Transport International (ATI), continuing his lifelong commitment to operational excellence and mentorship within the aviation industry.
